Our dietitians will teach you how to decode labels, develop grocery shopping strategies, provide recipes you’ll love, and support you throughout your nutrition journey.
Registered Dietitian | Diabetes Specialist
Cassie graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2006. She completed her internship with National Healthcare Corporation and afterwards, she spent two years working as a director/registered dietitian for the company, and then transitioned to the education setting. She spent 11 years at Summit Medical Center in the diabetes center, cardiac rehab, and assisted on the inpatient side as well. For the past five years, she has been working remotely. She has her certification as a “Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist” and enjoys helping others reach their individuals goals. Cassie is a mom of two active teenagers. Outside of work, you can find her at a ball field, on her treadmill/gym, or at the pool.

Registered Dietitian
Rachel graduated Cum Laude from New York University in New York City with a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics. She is credentialed by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as a Registered Dietitian and has spent the last few years working in hospital-based infant and pediatric nutrition. Prior to her education, Rachel was a professional ballet dancer and met with countless coaches, trainers, and dietitians throughout her time dancing. She is excited to return to the fitness industry and give back to a field that has always been so close to her heart!

Registered Dietitian
Ashley was born and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia and had a zest to understand nutrition at a young age. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from James Madison University, and then her Master of Arts in Human Service Counseling in Health & Wellness from Liberty University. Her experience includes women’s health, pediatrics, renal nutrition, renal transplant nutrition, school nutrition, and prenatal/postpartum nutrition. Ashley is passionate about empowering her clients to unlock their potential and achieve meaningful results.

Registered Dietitian
Lyndsey grew up in Arkansas where she received her undergraduate degree and master’s degree in clinical nutrition (MS). She completed her dietetic internship (RD) through Iowa State University and now lives in North Carolina near the beach. Her approach to nutrition is learning what works for each client that is sustainable, and encouraging a healthy relationship with food. Lyndsey’s favorite part about being a dietitian is seeing the life-changing impact that she can make on someone’s health without them feeling deprived.

Registered Dietitian
Craig was born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and is a credentialed Registered Dietitian through the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. He played basketball in high school, then attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he achieved a BA in Nutrition & Dietetics, as well as an MS during his master’s-required dietetic internship for Nutrition & Food Systems. Craig previously worked in college athletics with Mississippi State football and multiple olympic sports teams at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette. His favorite part about being a Dietitian is the gratification he feels seeing his clients achieve their goals, knowing he contributed to their success.

Registered Dietitian | Diabetes Specialist
Diane Norwood has a BS in Dietetics from James Madison University, completed her Dietetic Internship at the University of Virginia Health System, and earned a Master’s in Nutrition Communication from Tufts University. She has many years of experience in hospital nutrition, outpatient counseling and nutrition communications.
She is also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and her passion is helping people prevent the progression of chronic diseases by building sustainable healthy habits. She also prioritizes maintaining a healthy relationship with food. As a military spouse, she has enjoyed wandering the world with her Navy pediatrician husband and their three daughters, each born in a different country (USA, Japan and Italy). In her free time, she’s most happy cooking easy, real food for her family. She also enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, yoga, hiking/walking outside and relaxing at the beach.

Registered Dietitian
Judy has been a registered dietitian for over 25 years. She is a graduate of Michigan State University and completed her Dietetic Internship and Master’s degree from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She enjoys working with a variety of nutrition-related conditions and has a particular interest in diabetes management.
In addition to being a registered dietitian, she is also certified as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. Judy believes in long-term behavior changes for health rather than fads or trends. She’d rather “teach” you how to eat rather than “tell” you what to eat. Judy has two grown sons and lives in Virginia Beach with her husband and two dachshunds.

Registered Dietitian
Allison earned her master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She believes that balanced nutrition is the key to long-term disease prevention and management, while also improving daily mental health and mood. Allison loves to coordinate favorite foods into your every-day diet with an “all foods fit” approach to nutrition. On the weekends, you’ll find Allison shuffling her daughters to soccer games and playing in the kitchen. She loves traveling, and makes sure all her travels include local restaurants and cuisine.

Registered Dietitian, CPT | Lead Trainer, Norfolk
Ian graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in the Science of Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise. His own experiences in weightlifting led him to realize the importance of the role of nutrition in maximizing performance. This curiosity ended with the completion of an MS in Nutrition and Dietetics from Virginia Tech. He firmly believes that it is nearly impossible to optimize performance without nutrition and vice versa. In his free time, Ian enjoys trying new workouts and foods, and following up on personal research inquiries. In 10 years, he sees himself as an established and active member in the fields of human nutrition, kinesiology, and exercise physiology as they relate to research and academia.

Lead Registered Dietitian | CPT
Sara’s passion for nutrition was sparked in high school when she started cooking to compliment her own athletic performance. She earned her BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from Radford University and joined the Jim White team. She then went on to complete her dietetic internship at Central Michigan University. Sara understands that everyone has their own personal food philosophies and encourages healthy relationships with eating. On the weekends you can find Sara staying active and getting creative in the kitchen.

With over 10 years at Jim White Fitness & Nutrition Studios, Gerrie is truly the backbone of the business, helping everyone and everything run smoothly. She is a wife and mother of four boys. She believes that food is a healer and lives a life of balancing healthy eating with exercising while enjoying the sweeter tastes of life in moderation.

Jim graduated Summa Cum Laude from Youngstown University in Ohio with a BA in Nutrition. He is credentialed by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as a Registered Dietitian and certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as an Exercise Physiologist. Jim has the reputation of being one of the top health professionals in the area. His clientele includes all walks of life—athletes, actors, models, business owners, elders and teens. Jim and his team have helped hundreds lose thousands.
