How do I sign up?
What do I do before my session when I walk into the studio?
If you have a few minutes to spare, hop on a treadmill, elliptical or bike to get in a brief warm-up before your scheduled session.
What if I am late to my session?
Sessions start promptly on-time. It is recommended to arrive 5 minutes in advance but if you find that you are going to be late to the session, just hop right in as soon as you arrive. Session will end at it’s designated time and will not run over due to tardiness.
How many people will be in my group?
A group can have 1-4 people, depending on which sessions you schedule.
What if I need to cancel?
All sessions require a 24-hour cancellation from your Mindbody account. If you do not cancel before the 24-hours, your session will be forfeited. However, if your session is cancelled/ moved before the 24-hour cancellation, there will be no penalty if within the 30 days of the package.
How long do my sessions stay on my account?
All package sessions last for 30 days. After the 30 days, the sessions will be forfeited.
When will I receive my one-time nutrition guide?
Your one-time nutrition guide will be sent AFTER you purchase your first package of sessions. This guide will be emailed to you within 48 business hours.
What if I want a more personalized nutrition plan?
JWFNS is happy to assist with a more personalized nutrition plan. We currently accept insurance for nutrition services for individuals with Optima, Anthem BCBS, Cigna, Medicare (with certain diagnosis) and Aetna. You can check to see if your insurance covers nutrition services or talk with your Fitness Coach for more details.
What if I have an injury?
Try to arrive to your scheduled session 5 minutes early to talk with your Fitness Coach about any injuries you may have so that they can properly tailor any exercise for you.
Do you offer Fit4 at every JWFNS location?
Currently, Fit4 is only offered at our Downtown Norfolk studio but will be expanding to VB soon!
What if I decide Fit4 is not for me?
You are not under any long term contract so once your month is complete, you will not auto-renew.
Why are your fees not listed on the website?
Most of our programs are unique and do vary in price. Prices may vary depending on your location, commitment level and needs. Just like we tailor our fitness and nutrition programs to fit your individual needs, our prices are no exception. We work with all budgets to accommodate anybody who wants to get really, truly fit.
What if a friend, family member or neighbor wants to train with me. Do you offer discounts?
Yes! We encourage semi-private and small group training. These programs are a fun way to get in shape and can be very motivating. For every additional person who joins the group, the price is discounted (limit four to a group for semi-private and five to eight for a small group).
What do you charge for your in-home personal training service?
Training fees vary from home to home. We have to consider the distance it takes to travel from our location to your location. Call today for pricing.
Do you offer any discounts for your services?
Yes. Our training is month-to-month, but for longer commitments (3, 6 or 12 months), we offer special discounts. Plus, we offer an additional 5% off for all military personnel.
What is your cancellation policy?
We must receive a 24-hour notice for any cancelled session or the session will be forfeited. All sessions must be made up within one month's time.
Do I need to make a long-term commitment when I begin training?
We know life can be very unpredictable. We offer month-to-month fitness packages, however, we do sell longer-commitment packages at discounted rates, and the longer the commitment, the more economical they are.
If I sign up for one of your monthly training packages, when will I be charged?
We allow 10 days from the first of the month to pay your monthly bill. You will be invoiced on the first of every month. Your card or bank account will automatically be charged on the 10th of each month. If payments are made after the 10th, you may incur a $25 surcharge.
If I am training in a semi-private small group and I have to miss a session, can I make it up on my own?
We're sorry, but no. If you are in semi-private or small group training and have to miss a session for whatever reason, the session will be forfeited. The only exception is if the whole group can make up the session on a later day.
I am interested in joining one of the JWFNS studios. How do I go about doing that?
To be a member of our studio and have 24/7 gym access, you must sign up for any fitness package. Once you purchase a fitness package, you are then eligible to become a member. Why do you only accept credit cards or bank drafts?
JWFNS is a highly operable business. We keep things simple and systematic. By accepting credit cards or bank drafts it simplifies our business so we can focus on the most important things: you and your training!
Can you open a studio in my town?
JWFNS has much growth on the horizon. Our goal is to help as many people experience a life of health and wellness. Hold tight, we may be in a town near you!

I just need help with my nutrition and don’t want any personal training. May I just purchase a nutrition package?
Absolutely! You may select any nutrition package without personal training and see great results. But keep in mind that combining both fitness and nutrition will produce optimal results.
