I don’t think I was ever in really bad shape, but after joining the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad, learning I had low bone density, and getting closer and closer to a big birthday, I decided I better get serious about improving myself. I sat down with the trainers at JWFNS and they hand wrote a nutritional plan for me, and then we started training together.

All I can say is, wow. In 18 months, I’ve lost 30 pounds and 30 inches. Let me say that again: I’ve lost 30 pounds and 30 inches. Even more important is what I’ve gained: confidence, energy and strength. It’s an amazing feeling. At the rescue squad we like to “live by example,” and I truly feel I do, thanks to the kind, encouraging, enthusiastic professionals at Jim White Fitness & Nutrition Studios.
