Having trained with JWFNS almost seven years ago, I already knew that their program really works. HOWEVER! I moved to Norfolk, got married, and I let life get in the way of of being healthy. Being a cop, I found myself drifting towards that stereotypical “donut-eating-overweight-out-of-shape” public servant. I was busting out of my uniform and was uncomfortable in my own body after sitting in a police car for twelve hours. I refused to move up a size in my uniform. I am the type of person who needs a person beside me to motivate me – someone to be accountable to for my eating and exercising. I SWORE if JWFNS ever came to Norfolk I was going back! Along comes December 2014 and the new studio in Norfolk!
 
In five months I have lost over 20 pounds, 8% body fat and have gone from a size 12 to a size 4! My trainer has been super awesome with all of her knowledge of nutrition and fitness. We laugh now, but the first day I came to train with her and I told her I had leftover Chinese and Ben and Jerry’s ice cream for breakfast, I think her eyes almost popped out of her head! But my trainer was NEVER judgmental and always supportive. She always knows when I’m not being pushed enough and out come the heavier weights. I think I can’t do it, but she’s always right. I have learned to pay attention to my body – Garbage in, Garbage out. Gotta eat healthy to BE healthy. Don’t get me wrong, I still eat what I enjoy. I just eat it a lot less!
