When I started going to Jim White Fitness & Nutrition Studios for nutrition resources, I was at a very unhealthy point in my life. I had just decided to take action and begin my recovery from anorexia, but I couldn’t do it alone. Through the guidance of my Jim White dietitian, I began to learn the steps to heal my relationship with food, movement, and my body. I discovered intuitive eating, got in touch with my hunger and cravings, and my body began to trust me again. It wasn’t easy and took a lot of work, but I always had the support of my team behind me, so I kept pushing through the bad days and did exactly what my eating disorder told me not to do.

Now that I’ve worked on my relationship with food, I have begun weightlifting again in a safe headspace, which makes me happier than ever.  All of which is thanks to the resources I have been given through my dietitian and Jim White. Now, even in my freshman year at college, I can continue to meet with my dietitian virtually to give me the tools I need to be the best, healthiest version of myself.
