For years, I considered myself in good shape… I was doing high-level athletics, heavy weight lifting, and regular cardio. But as time went on, and college turned into law school, and law school into a full-time career — good shape turned to decent shape and eventually to the worst shape of my life when I reached 217 pounds.

Unhappy with my workout routine, dietary habits, energy levels, and overall appearance, I decided to make a change. I began training with Jim White Fitness & Nutrition Studios. While training with them for the 2012 Virginia Beach Rock ‘n’ Roll Half-Marathon, my dietary habits became a hindrance both to my goals and my weight loss. The trainers designed a nutrition plan emphasizing the keys to reach my personal goals. Following their dietary plan, I finally lost the pounds that were prohibiting a truly great physique.

I now feel better than ever, weighing in around 176 pounds and continuing training for multiple future running events. Absent JWFNS’s team, nutritional guidelines, encouragement, and overall fitness/nutritional knowledge, I would never have reached my goal of being in the best shape of my life and finally seeing a true set of six-pack abs.
