Maintaining a healthy weight has been a lifelong struggle. A couple of years ago, I discovered a love of running. I was in a car accident in February 2017 and not allowed to do any physical activity. I’m an emotional eater, and I wasn’t allowed to run, which had been my stress outlet, so I needed to do something. My dietitian has helped me come up with a nutrition plan and has been a champion of positive thinking to help me deal with stress and hold me accountable. As a result, I have lost about 40 pounds since I started meeting with her.
