At 37 years young, I reached my peak weight of 293 pounds. I had mild sleep apnea, high cholesterol, and increased doctor visits for anxiety, stress, allergies, and joint pain. My goal was simple — find a personal trainer that was experienced, trained, motivating, committed, and could aide in nutrition. The end result would be an amazing lifestyle change. My goal to be fit would reverse all the health symptoms I had acquired. I would enjoy the greatest reward of all by watching the positive impact this would have on my family.

I had tried many diets and failed. I had tried personal training at other gyms and failed. Prior to visiting Jim White Fitness & Nutrition Studios, I had researched over 15 local gyms in the area and realized they were all missing something.

My partnership with JWFNS started with an overhaul of our kitchen pantry. Then it was off to the grocery store to learn how to shop and eat healthy for the whole family. The blueprint was laid out for three days of strength training and 6 days of cardio for 45 minutes or more. I was given guidance on food choices at every session. By learning what foods stimulates your metabolism and keeps it at peak levels is the key to a lifestyle change. During my training I never once saw myself on a diet. I was eating more often in healthier portions and choices. I was very motivated not to fail and committed myself to succeed. It required me to put my health first and make time in the day to get fit. I reached 214 pounds in less than 9 months. All my previous health issues are gone. I am proud to say I am Jim White FIT!
